GESIAGESIAGESIA is a state-level association for Electronics, Software, IT, ITES, BPO/KPO/LPO, Telecom/ISP, Networking, and IT Education recognized by the Government of Gujarat. We represent the ICT industry of Gujarat and work in close relationships with the Government to promote Information and Communications Technology through seminars, webinars, trainings, and more to make Gujarat a prominent asset in the making of Digital India.
Evolution of GESIA from AGE
After years of hardwork and development in the field by our reputed team members, GESIAfinally registered as a company under section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013, and incorporated as GESIA IT Association on 23rd April 2016.

In the effort to widen the scope for participation of all digital groups & include software industries, GEIA further remodeled itself as GESIA(Gujarat Electronics & Software Industries Association).
1995
Our esteemed organization was co-founded in 1995 by a group of Eight CEOs of Gandhinagar’s GIDC Electronic Estate and was named AGE (Action Group Electronics ).
1996
After a year of progress, AGE transformed into GEIA (Gujarat Electronic Industries Association) on 14th December 1996.

We represents the ICT industry of the State of Gujarat and its works in partnership with the Government of Gujarat for the promotion of IT (Software & Hardware), ITeS (BPO/KPO), Electronics, Telecom, Networking / ISP & IT Education in the State of Gujarat.
In the course of 27 years of service, GESIA built several partnerships with State and National Level Industry Associations like NASSCOM, MAIT, FICCI, CII, ASSOCHAM, ESC, CSI, FISME, TEMA, GCCI, IACC, ACMA, GIS, VCCI, SGCCI, BITA, RCTA, GEZIA, and more. Together, we work to exchange ideas and put efforts into empowering the digital industry of Gujarat.
GESIA achieved many milestones for development and growth of ICT Industry and with this new beginning and transformation of the organization, the scope of development has widened for higher growth, performance, national–international cooperation, Business development, Networking, Consulting and support to the industry. The new organization brings to its member companies a structured organization, structured approach, structured process and management. This will help and support the member companies for desired support and development for better growth.
Also, GESIA IT Association has incorporated under section 12AA and 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961. This will provide benefit to member companies in tax rebates.
GESIA, along with its all members, has been dedicatedly working for over 27 years to widen the scope of development in the ICT Industry of Gujarat. Leveraging technological advancements and support from National–International associates, GESIA has successfully delivered higher growth and performance in all its ventures.
Business development, networking, consulting, and supporting corporations for sustainable growth are some of the contributions of GESIA to the ICT industry. GESIA offers a streamlined approach with structured processes and management to its member companies and ensures higher growth prospects for their development.
Apart from it, GESIA IT Association is also incorporated under sections 12AA and 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961, providing tax benefits to its member companies and associates.
